| Jeff's Precious Links
My Sites
Sites that aren't just designed by me, they're devoted to me.
Lofvers.com (duh)
Don't bother clicking, it doesn't work if you're already here.
My MySpace Page
Just can't get enough Jeff? Perhaps you should try my MySpace page. I rarely
use it, but just staring at my photos should be enough to fill anyone's heart
with contentment.

Online Comics
With online comics, quality is often inversely related to popularity. Fortunately
for me, the comics I created with Michael Buonauro were considerably low in
quality.
Dr. Lobster
by Jeff Lofvers and Michael Buonauro
The comic that started it all. Laugh at the hijinks of everyone's favorite Lobster
in his zany hospital under the sea.
Gamer Hotties
By Michael Buonauro, Tamara Gray, and Jeff Lofvers
A cheap attempt to combine the most popular aspects of successful online comics.
This short-lived joke received much more attention then we ever expected...
the creepy kind of attention.
Wrench Farm
by Jeff Lofvers and Michael Buonauro
The last comics Michael and I created. This was an attempt to put our least
funny conversations from real life into comic form. The result: Comic Gold!
Battle Forum
Once upon a time, the Dr. Lobster / Gamer Hotties forums were filled with hateful,
spiteful people. Like scrapbooking, hatred can be a powerful motivator for organization
and, as a result, this group has spawned their own evil (non-scrapbooking) forums.
Clan BOB
The only people to ever give me a T-shirt from their comic. They get a link.
Irev.Net
The company that saved Dr. Lobster more times than I can count (although, to
be fair, I can't count past 76). It hosts a number of current and defunct webcomics,
including DrL.
Evil Adam
This Jersey City metal band wrote the greatest theme song since "Shaft." I
believe it was called "Shaft II: The Ballad of Dr. Lobster," but I could be
mistaken.
Everything
2 - Dr. Lobster Page
Not really a comic, someone wrote a pretty good write-up of DrL's history.

Friends' Sites
Looking at this list makes me certain that I need more friends.
Shannon Gray
My lovely girlfriend. If you think my website is great, imagine how wonderful
it must be for her to actually live with me. Go ahead
imagine it.
Unknown Hero
The old home page for the chronicles of Marvelous Bob, a serial tale by my late
friend, Michael Buonauro. The site is currently maintained by the Michael Buonauro
Foundation.
Presence's Page
When you think internet, think "Presence." Without this guy, Dr. Lobster would
have faded even further into obscurity. Oh, and he also gave my grandmother
tickets to a topless magic show for her 80th birthday.
Cowkitty Studios
Tammy Gray is the talented individual that illustrated Gamer Hotties. Too bad
she wastes all of her time with that Anime crap
it'll never catch on.
Tom McCoy
Never show anyone how to make websites. They'll stop paying you and start up
their own business.
Susan Torregrosa's Studio-T
Before I saw Susan's work, I firmly believed that calling photography "art"
was like calling celebrity gossip "news." I still believe this, but now I use
the term "meat-puppet" instead of "celebrity". Anyway, Susan's photography is
amazing.
Evil Primate
Although a friend of mine in high school, Anthony Carboni was an obsessed young
man. He had a fanatical love of non-human primates. Any primates who didn't
feel the same about him were labeled "evil," and suffered the humiliation of
having their photos posted on his website. Since that time, the site had expanded
to include several hilarious comedy videos, but that doesn't make it any less
perverse. Be the first in your household to check it out!

Lofvers on the web
I'm fairly certain that every last Lofvers on earth is related to me. Lucky
them!
I managed to snatch up Lofvers.com before anyone else had a chance, but some
of these persistent people still managed to make it onto the web.
Stephen Lofvers
Despite the fact that he only has some of my good looks, my little brother
is somehow getting married before me. To make matters worse, he conned me into
making a website for the wedding. They'd better name some kids after me.
Michael Lofvers
The MySpace page for my middle brother. See if you can spot any resemblance.
Lorri
Lofvers, MBA
My Aunt, a management consultant in the Boston area. Although she shares my
last name, she chose not to pass it on to her daughters. I therefore choose
not to acknowledge them.
Martijn Lofvers on
MySpace
Who knew that MySpace was so popular? You can find all kinds of strangers there,
even people that grab your last name before you get a chance. Martijn
is a writer, editor, and publisher. His new novel, Dodenmars (Dutch for
"Deathmarch") is due out at the end of this month.
Peter Lofvers
(english translation)
So a Peter Lofvers from the Netherlands sent this to me. Turns out he's
a pretty talented guy. He designs websites, plays keyboard, performs vocals,
and writes music. If you truly wish to know every last talented Lofvers (and
you should) then you'll follow this link.
Rock a Nova
(english translation)
Peter's Band. You can download some mp3's from their site.
Anja Lofvers
(english translation)
The only other website I can find that contains "Lofvers" in a .com name. Anja
is an outstanding painter who also happens to have an outstanding last name.
Wim
Lofvers
A physician and haiku author from the Netherlands. Wim Lofvers was published
internationally, and I was never able to contact him before he passed away in
2007.
Bureau Lofvers
Since I don't speak dutch (I barely speak english), I don't know too much about
this. As far as I can tell, it's an Architecture and planning firm started by
Willemijn Lofvers, based in the Rotterdam Area, Netherlands.

Random Pages That Mention Me
See? Other people like to talk about me as much as I do.
ETAN Lab Grant Challenge
The University of Rhode Island held an international challenge to manipulate
online ratings and defeat their algorithm. Winner: ME.
Sunshine MINIS
A great way to hang out with tall people in tiny cars. I haven't really visited
the forums in some time, but you are bound to find a few pictures of my infinitesimal
car.
Track Shack
Race results from a few of my runs. I assume it's still called "running" even
when I move that slowly.
Wikipedia
Oh I'm in there. Don't bother with the search engine, though-- I don't have
my own article (as far as I know). Your challenge: find me.
