Climate Change Game

For her Master's degree in Environmental Policy, my wife was tasked with creating a Capstone Project. For several months, she researched and developed core concepts for an informative Climate Change game.  I am working with her to flesh this out and turn it into a final game, which will be available on the Oculus Rift.

Tails of Fury

Developed by Roman and Sharf, Lucas, and others, this is an upcoming PC game out of our company, Chaotic Formula. As of this moment, my involvement has been limited, due to an increased workload at the day job. Sigh... life would be so much easier if I didn't have to eat.

I was involved in the early prototyping stage, modeling a few characters and sculpting this super awesome sumo squirrel based on Roman's design.  I also managed to write some decent C# scripts that mess with gravity.

Created by myself and Roman Sharf, this project was the first game out of our joint company, Chaotic Formula, LLC.

You play as Jack, the town barber tasked with climbing up a (handsome) giant's beard, dodging fleas and text along the way. It's based on a true story.

Although we are both capable of drawing and coding, Roman did the art and I wrote the code.  Developed in unity 3-D, it can currently be found in the Windows Phone store and the Apple App Store.

Jack and the Beardstalk

The 1948 tucker was a truly unique automobile.  The first car to feature seatbelts, it had the distinction of featuring a third headlight that turned with the steering wheel.  It had a limited production run of only 51 vehicles and was killed before its time.

There it's a great deal of misinformation about the car online.  My brother Mike has been compiling a list of accurate data and photographs as a hobby for years.  It is his goal in the near future to provide that data to the public on his website,

I have been assisting him with the creation of the site's database along with a photorealistic 3-D model of the Tucker (based on measurements and photographs taken my Mike).  This model will be used to display the many variations among the cars, as well as for graphics and promos of the site.

Arduino project

Because I have impeccable taste, the original Ghostbusters happens to be my favorite movie.  When I was 6, I knew I wanted to be a Ghostbuster. I'm a grown man now, a functioning member of society.  Although I no longer believe in ghosts, I do still believe I want to be a Ghostbuster.

A few halloweens back, my friend Chris and I worked together to make some costumes and wear them to work.  Chris was a little iffy on dressing up, but we both wanted to solder things.  Together, we figured out how to build the interactive lights and sounds using an Arduino and a breadboard.  It took a lot of research, but our efforts paid off.
